Membership Benefits

1) Four 3 hour meetings per year.  We will cover new techniques, basic to advanced postures, breathing and cleaning practices. Also teachers that have special skills will share their knowledge with us.

2) Yearly retreat with special guest speakers and presenters, for cost.

3) Quarterly newsletter with coverage of recent/upcoming meetings or retreats an article spotlighting one of our teachers, and  listings of upcoming events and functions.

4) Certified Teachers will receive a free listing on our web site with a link to your E-Mail. Certified Teachers also get a personal Home Page listing all of your classes, special skills, and whatever else you would like to include, for a one time set up fee of $50.00. (includes up to 15 minute changes for one full year) 

5) All members will receive a PIN number, for accessing the Members Only area of the web site, which will allow you to communicate with and learn from other teachers.

6) All Members will receive a 10% rebate on books, tapes, props, etc., purchased from the Lotus Yoga Teachers Associations Book Store on the web.

7) Certified Members can earn extra income through the Lotus Yoga Teachers Association Book Store.

8) Continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance annual registration.

Association Goals

1) To provide a network of dependable, quality trained teachers for;

    a) Clubs, Schools, Park Districts or other groups

    b) Substitute Teachers for your classes when needed.

    c) To share ideas, skills and resources.

2) To keep the teaching authentic, according to the ancient traditions.

3) To offer a means of continuing education for both Certified Teachers and aspiring teachers.

4) To help Members develop new skills in;
