Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center Teachers Association

Shirley Walter founded The Lotus Yoga Centre in 1972 in Mt. Prospect, IL, under the direction of Sri Swami Rama. The Lotus Yoga Teachers Association (LYTA) was formed to serve teacher graduates of the Lotus Yoga Centre. In September 2005, LYTA became affiliated with Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center. The LYTA teaching programs administered as part of Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center (HYMC) offerings.
